Has anyone here used a headhunter to find a position? I've seen several advertised, but since I've never used this type of service I was wondering what to expect.

I worked with API which is run by the Bardens for a Chief Pilot position. Long story, but I turned down the job after the whole process. Very through and be ready to fill out lots of paperwork, i.e. flight history break down, work history, background information, write an autobiography of yourself, personal interview, and they need a picture of you.

I contacted them to start the process and after a very short time a chief pilot postion became available. This was late 2004.

There was "resume writer" that used to post here. She was in contact with he right people. Many pilots have used her resources. Maybe try to google her?
