Do you really think 1 day matters? Fact of the matter is that VA offers MUCH more for the pax than JB. Its a battle you can't win.

Baghdad Bob has been found. I have little doubt that B6 will loose money on this flight, even with their ability to connect passengers in Fort Lauderdale, but VX will ultimately loose their shirt. VX is obsessed with the JetBlue product. Good luck trying to fill those $800+ seats. I suspect that you get enraged when you think about JetBlue and all those JFK flight slots.

The Jetwho H8Rs here make me laugh. When they came in and destroyed lives and jobs, sorry I meant started up operations 10 years ago, they caught a lot of flak from the big boys too. The blue guys are now sour cause someone else is now in their back yard. Hahaha, hypocrites like barfchef and bigclitboom all spew hate when 10 years ago they were doing the same thing. You guys all flocked to jb to fly shiny new airbuses for regional wages when the entire industry was pulling back after Sept 11. Pot meet kettle.

Plus not to mention that every FA uniform out there seems to just love blue shirts now.. Jumped on expressjeet the other day and the FA had a blue shirt.


On another note these VA guys get all defensive because THEY think that JB guys are all pissed because they want to play baseball in their backyard.

My perspective is quite different:

The blue juice dried up 4 years ago when I realized that the stock options were worthless ( Even though the early pilots banked up to 500,000 each which is great for them), Our Benefits were getting worse yearly, Crew Services was given carte blanche to make scheduling changes at will and we elected a member of our BOD that is a specialist at arranging aircraft sales to his own company making millions.

Couple that with the fact that Jetblue subsidized air travel for half of america on the back of their employees with low wages.

I would be thrilled if VA was a viable company with a business plan that works. What I just cant stand is when you have a company losing nearly half a billion dollars backed with inside deals and promises to investors from a billionaire owner when any other business would have imploded by now.

Call us whatever you want the reality is that the blue pilots are fed up with company promises of ' Doing the right thing" Dont worry VA guys your family can only subsidize the company for so long..
