I was wondering what the average cost is to use netjets? My wife's friend flew into this week and she flew on netjets!!! her husband makes alot of money (owns his own company). Are most of the netjet customers multi multi millionaires or are some customers people that make okay money??

The level of service and safety we provide is so high you can't measure it with dollars.

That is why NetJets IS the undisputed leader of fractional AND charter service available today. That IS undisputed. So when you ask how much does it cost, you really need to ask is how much does it SAVE to fly on NetJets.

There are a lotta other fractionals and chater operators, just like you can go to long john silvers or Red Lobster.....

So its safe to say the most netjet customers are either famous with millions or people with millions to spend?

Not necessarily. This week most of my flights were businessmen traveling for work. We let people do in two days what would take a week traveling on the airlines through hubs.

As for costs, it depends on a lot of things -- owner vs. hourly cardholder, size of airplane, number of hours flown, and so on. A light user might opt for a Marquis Jet Card, which offers 25 hours for $132,900 in a Citation Ultra. That's a fairly high hourly rate, but there's no share ownership required, and no commitment beyond the price of the card.

If you fly more, a 1/16th interest in a Hawker 400XP, for example, would cost you $425,625. That's an asset, and can be depreciated on taxes, and sold back at the end of the contract term. For an owned share like that, the occupied hourly cost would be much lower, so for heavier users, share ownership is a better value.

For more detail, you'll have to ask a sales guy. The ownership page also has some more information.

Nice comments from some of you. We'll see how much it costs in a few months.

whatever it is, there is a reason why NetJets isn't the cheapest. Do you price compare for a heart surgeon?

There are fractionals then there is NetJets.....We don't have any competition.
