What is going on with the pay raise Blue Dudes?

What is going on with the pay raise Blue Dudes?

Latest word from a member of our values committee, is that it's still retroactive to June 1, and we'll start actually seeing the raise in October as well as the retro check.

Many of us are in the mode of we'll believe it when we see it.

I talked to a Compensation Committee member yesterday. He said new contracts should go out by the end of August with a signing deadline in October. New pay rates and retro checks by the end of October.

He also reported good news on the benefits front. Two new options will be offered (to all employees...of course)...one of them being a return to the 2004 benefits plan. It will be slightly more per month but will dramatically reduce deductibles and out of pocket max's.

I asked about retirement...he said nothing had been done yet. It's very hard to work on, he said.....because we don't have a CBA and they have to offer any changes to all employees. Thanks BooBbs....nice work!

Anyway...I'll believe it all when I see it...

Are there non pilots on the values committee or compensation committee? I ask, because it seems the pilots are working for everyone.. or in order to get better compensation for themselves, the pilots have to get it for everyone....

Good luck trying to sell a union vote and a 2% pay deduction for a 3% increase in retirement contribution.

Let's see, Airtran is in their 5th year of negotiations-- does that mean they'll have waited that long for their retro check? I think I can wait a couple of months...

Let me guess you are retired from AF? Full pension? Captain? Kids out of house? Stock options treated you right? Top 100?

Or 190 reserve FO?
