It ain't Piedmont. First they can't buy anything on their own. Second US Airways is cutting capacity down. Third, Piedmont is scoped out of them. Fourth, getting Piedmont Q400 would make too much sense.

The Q400 rumor has been floating around skywest for a while now. Maybe it's true, but Jerry would never do it with only 5 airplanes of a new type.

It's a typo....should have been 50 (with 50 options), but I'm not allowed to say anything.

Cheers!

(I don't think it's Colgan, when I worked there they were going to option 15 with another 15 waiting in the wings. Here at ANA we're supposed to be getting Nextgens sometime in the future but I hadn't heard anything beyond that.

I think its petair... only the best for your pooch..

na just kidding asa is replacing the atrahs with the Q

I am in Canada right now and on the news it mentioned a Scandanavian airline. Apparently, the Canadian Govenment is backing the loan to help Bombardier move some product.

Cash for Clunkers!

Related Q: Does anyone think sooner or later that majors might have the regionals start looking at operating the 400 with first class?

not sure but someone will chime in.. dont the Q's burn about the same fuel as the 50 seater.. it's all about the dollar.

So you had to ruin it for us. It was fun seeing everyone speculate and talk out their ass.
