Why doesn't Obama send him to a Sandals Club (far away) and let him drink his way throught the next four years, he would be to engrossed in the free booze and food that he would not have the time to comment on stuff he knows nothing about

Of all the mistakes I think Obama has made, I think the choice of Biden was his biggest mistake.

No, it was the smartest choice he's ever made. Lots of people who despise our socialist president pray for his safety every night.

Why? Two words: "President Biden"

Joe Biden does an excellent job of the Vice President's job of making the President look terrific.

So what's Janet Napolitano going to say next to retake the lead from Joe Biden in the weekly gaffe-off?

Don't do as I do, Do as I say

After his flu warning, Biden takes the train home

WASHINGTON -One day after saying he wouldn't travel in tight quarters because of the swine flu scare, Vice President Joe Biden rode a train Friday from Washington to Delaware.
Known for speaking freely, Biden told NBC's "Today" show on Thursday that he had urged family members to avoid airplanes and subways for fear of contracting the H1N1 flu virus.
"I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places now," Biden said.
The comments infuriated the travel industry and triggered several revisions from the Obama administration, whose official advice is less severe.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano commented, "If he could say that over again, he would say if they're feeling sick, they should stay off of public transit or confined spaces."
By Friday night, Biden seemed ready for his own do-over. A longtime rider of Amtrak, he took a train from Union Station to his Delaware home, his office said.

Do you guys think he is the only person to think or say this? To me this is common sense. If a virus is running around getting people sick stay away from the places it is transmitted the easiest. Aircraft have a lot of people in a confined space breathing recycled air.

That's not the issue, sleeves. He's in a leadership position and has to actually think about the implications of what he says.... or at least is supposed to.

"...Aircraft have a lot of people in a confined space breathing recycled air."

Well done, sir!

Lets look at how a pressurization system works. It isn't recycled air. Air comes in from the HP bleed air and goes out through the outflow valve. New air comes in, old air goes out. Most of the larger aircraft has the air coming out of the vents in the ceiling and being exhausted through the floor. I would say that actually helps reduce the propagation of any germs or viruses by virtue of the airflow sucking it down through the floor. The smaller aircraft has a very fast exchange rate where the larger ones swap out the old air around 7 times an hour.

I rode the train with Biden once. He inhaled my recycled beer farts for over an hour.
