FLOPS is having the SFO's do the trips. They'll go the extra mile....or extra 6 feet, for that matter. Plus, when they get back, they're not as contagious because most pilots won't go near them anyway.

NetJets is monitoring the situation closely.

Here is my .02 on the issue... The outbreak will spread from Argentina to Gander, and many places throughout the world. It will have to run its course, and thats that. I'm waiting to see if the people infected are recovering by early diagnosis. That will be the key to how nasty this thing can get.

Will it be the great pandemic? Who friggin knows.

Based on all of the aircraft I see clearing customs at PBI, this does not preclude trips to Mexico to drop off owners or pick them up.

No announcement has been made on the carrying of swine aboard NJ aircraft.

How many Netjets aircraft have XA and XB tail numbers? They way you wrote your posts said that Netjets was going to and from Mexico to pick up and drop off pax.

Netjets airplanes with XA and XB registrations? Other than NJE, I though all Netjets aircraft were N-registered. Am I wrong?

No travel for us to Mexico until such time as the travel alert against 'unnecessary travel' is lifted.

Because of this Travel Alert, we, as Americans in Mexico have VERY limited services from our embassies in Mexico.

It's NOT a place to go when a Travel Alert is in effect. Simple as that!

Swine flu no worse than regular flu.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The swine flu virus that has sparked fear and precautions worldwide appears to be no more dangerous than the regular flu virus that makes its rounds each year, U.S. officials said

"What the epidemiologists are seeing now with this particular strain of U.N. is that the severity of the disease, the severity of the flu -- how sick you get -- is not stronger than regular seasonal flu," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Monday as the worldwide number of confirmed cases of swine flu -- technically known as 2009 H1N1 virus -- topped 1,085.

The flu has been blamed for 26 deaths: 25 in Mexico and one in the United States, according to the World Health Organization.

Still, Napolitano noted, the seasonal flu results in "hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations" and roughly 35,000 fatalities each year in the United States. There are still concerns that the virus could return in the fall, in the typical flu season, as a stronger strain.
