If so, how long have they been retired?

No.....saw the last group of T-37 guys and gals in Lubbock last week. I had the same question and was told that they were the last. About 10 tweets on the ramp....nice sight.

The T-6 is a decent plane, but it will only have a fraction of the lifespan of the T-37. Hats off to the folks who assembled that little tank.

Agreed. Buddy of mine said they landed one gear up in Enid a few years ago, and it was flying 2 days later. Lets see the T-6 do that. (or survive 50 years of vomit)

Apparently, the Flag Officers are lining up and trying to be the last one to fly the Tweet. Sounds like 3- and 4- star officers are in the mix. Could be fun to watch how this plays out! I know I'd want to do it.
Last flights probably in August, is what I'm hearing.
