Show me where I used name calling? I will wait.....cue Jeopardy music. Wait...I will save you the trouble...I DIDN'T! Apology accepted.

Plus, I guess I missed you posting your name..what was it again?

3) It opens a major can of worms with the pending NJA/NJI seniority list integration and how any furlough would be spread among the two groups.

I still expect and have recently heard more rumors about an enhanced retirement incentive package that would be offered to pilots closer to traditional retirement age. That would spread pilot force reductions over a wider area and blunt retraining costs. This is one rumor I really hope is true.

Your third point above is very true. It's easy to see why Mr. Santulli would want to avoid that if possible. The rumors sound logical to me and if that is your wish then I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, GSD...:)

The current LOAs regarding integreation address the potential furlough issue. It is the understanding of the union that the VSL would be applied, using inverse seniority if the need to furlough arose. Due to fleet manning issues, that could create problems. Another reason the boss wants to avoid them all together.

I just hope the rumor is true because it would be the best thing for the company and the majority of the pilot group. I'm still a couple of decades away from retirement so the only change for me would be to move up the VSL a bit. Since I'm inside 500, it wouldn't affect me a whole lot. A retirement incentive package would spread pilot reductions over all the fleets and allow a few more junior guys to see the left seat a little bit sooner.

GSD, I don't think one has to be near SS age to be interested in leaving one career position for another, but you have my apology if you heard a rocking chair in the background of my post....:p

I predict that the NJA/I pilots will be pleased with the results of the joint effort. I know that a lot of hard work and motivation to do the right thing went into the proposals. Hopefully, the pilots will participate in full measure and the objective will be met.

Fly4funcrj, the partnership between NJASAP and Management is amazing, especially when compared to other aviation companies. I've been told that these offers are unprecedented in the industry.

Gunfyter...dream on....we'll all post quietly while you sleep...:D

You know GSD, it would be easier to communicate with you if you accepted PM's I'm just saying.
