Cardinal Health's flight department supports executive transportation requi=
rements and allows Cardinal Health to compete in the marketplace. The depar=
tment consists of 3 aircraft based at Ohio State University Airport. Prese=
ntly, operations are 90% domestic and 10% international. Our on-demand ope=
ration operates 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
Purpose: =20
The Captain reports to the Director, Corporate Aviation Services and is res=
ponsible for the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights. As Captai=
n, the candidate conducts flights under instrument meteorological condition=
s to high density airports both domestically and internationally. Cardinal=
Health Captains are expected to maintain a high level of professional/tech=
nical knowledge and proficiency while providing exceptional customer servic=
e. When not flying, the candidate will have additional responsibilities re=
lated to the efficient operation of the department.
Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities: =20
When assigned to a flight, the Captain has the final authority in the opera=
tion of the aircraft. The Captain must ensure compliance with all federal=
, state, local and foreign regulations as well as the policies and procedur=
es outlined in the Cardinal Health flight operations manual.=20
The Captain will also have additional duties and responsibilities associate=
d with the daily operation of the flight department. Examples include pot=
ential assignment as the Safety Captain, Standardization Captain, Training =
Captain, or other similar roles.=20
Position Requirements:
Must be willing to work irregular hours and weekends.=20
Must be physically able to sit in confined space (cockpit) for duration of =
duty.=20
Must be able to lift approximately 80 lbs.=20
Must be able to work flexible hours and periodically spend up to 10 consecu=
tive nights on the road.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor=E2=80=99s degree desired, however requirement may be waived based =
upon flight and professional experience.

Experience Requirements:
Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Airplane Multiengine Land rating.=
=20
A First Class FAA Medical Certificate is required.=20
5000 hours total flight time and 2000 hours multiengine jet time is require=
d.=20
International experience and a Falcon 2000 type rating are desired.
Work Environment:
All work will be performed in an airport environment both inside a hangar a=
nd on ramp areas. Noise and other flight operations risks will be present.=
