dittoIf I have learned anything from 14 years at Astar ... it's that one should believe half of what one reads and none of what one hears.
Also, If management ever speaks, they are also lying.
Rumors here (as they are everywhere) are rampant and not worth repeating.

They're asking everybody for quotes. Not having a 767 on their certificate won't help Astar in the bidding process.Heard from a source on the inside that DHL has told ASTAR that they anticipate DC8 flying beyond 2009 and that they have asked ASTAR for a quote for 767 operations...... Care to comment? ASTAR?

As Astar draws down their operations, your oft-repeated expression of concern and support for your fellow pilots has not gone unnoticed by others in the professional community.More wisdom from the long ago fired one. I'm sure you'll make a fine addition to whatever organization is fortunate enough to hire you.
And this relates to "Astar to fly 767's?" exactly........HOW??????Jim, just because you are paranoid don't think you can still post anti-Astar mis-information, slander, and lies out of spite and bitterness and get away with it.
As for your "fellow pilot" concerns; you need not worry. That doesn't include you anymore. Never will.
