Does anyone know when the money in the ING 401k will be transferred to the Delta Fidelity 401K?

I called ING and they don't have answers.

Did you get the letter in the mail from fidelity about it? mine came yesterday. I read it twice and still didn't understand it....looks like sometime in the fall from what i gathered. It was clear as mud!!!!

Call your council Retirement & Insurance rep. He'll probably know or will be able to get the answer.

I called Nwa Pensions (found number on Radar) and they at least knew what I was talking about. Fidelity and ING had no clue.

Pensions told me to expect the 401k's to combine later this year. (I'm a post Sept. 1 hire).

The letter we just received a couple of days ago states:

For pre 09/2007 hires- "Your accounts, current contributions, investment choices and any loans under the NWA plans will continue at ING until later in 2009.....An enrollment kit.....will be mailed to you later this year, before the assets and administration transfer date."

Basically the same for post 09/2007 hires.

So basically, we are stuck with ING until "later" this year, whenever that is.......So much for an April transition.

You might have an opportunity to keep them separate. In other words, roll your NWA 401K into an IRA. Then start the Delta 401K from scratch.

That's what we did at TWA. We have ours managed separate from the AA "Super Saver". American loves to rename things, Super Saver is their name for 401K!

Sounds as funny as their use of Luxury Liner.

Anyone hear anything when this is going to happen?

-Thanks
