Band of blue was a group of anti-union pilots. They had a website of anti-union retoric and also had a list of whom they are and why they were anti-union.
It is rumored they made a list of which pilots were union sympathizers....
you make your own conclusion on them...

Rumored? No it's fact and I have a copy of it.

Please get that list out there for people to ban them from jumpseating. I think it would be very unfair to deny someone jumpseat just because they fly for Jet Blue, however this BOB thing is a whole different deal.
If they are making lists of pilots that wanted a union, (one of the rights we have as Americans and people have died fighting for) than they should be banned from jumpseating. Simple as that.
I have no problem with people having different opinions on Unions, but keeping a list like that is outragous and as bad or worse than scabbing.

That's too bad guys. The ones that stand in the way of union progress or union formation, are the ultimate "me first" crowd. They either have it too good with promises of more from management, or they're simply cowards that don't want to face the inevitable battles that may have to be fought.

You guys would've accomplished more for yourselves and the industry with a union. Without one, you have to ride on the works of others unfortunately. It is what it is. Perhaps Alpa may get serious about courting you guys now.

I have a copy of the list as well and as much as I would never want to deny someone a jumpseat or, in return, have it done to me I would love to see people deny the BoB's.
Knowing a few of them these are people who would step on their own to help out the company. Its a sick relationship if you ask me and, yes, most of them are senior captains.

Could you guys be bigger babies?

First of all the BOB guys were about 100 guys. You only got 600 votes out of almost 2000. Blaming them for your complete failure is like a football team blaming their loss on the sun getting it their eyes, or the grass was too green, or the fans were too loud.

The fact is that you presented your best arguments, the other side presented theirs and the pilots chose. You could barely get 1/3 of the vote.

And so what if the BOB kept a list of people that did not want to be contacted. JBPA obviously kept a list of it's supporters. Mike Sorbie has acknowledge they did and it would be silly of both groups not to. You're getting you panties in a wad over nothing.

Your time would be more productively spent looking at why you lost and why your message did not persuade the majority. That's the only way the next attempt will go better for you.

This denying jumpeat BS is only going to reinforce the reasons some didn't want to be part of your organization.

Actually, discrediting this group of Bobs is time well spent towards your next vote. If they were just some pop-up Ford&Harrison propaganda machine, then pull out all the stops exposing them. Let them know that people are checking facts and keeping records.

Interesting, b/c I got a call earlier today for an interview next week. Things moving quick ??

This was part of the anti-union rhetoric the BoB's and the company used. Though it was never stated directly by management it was alluded to. The BoB's made it a rallying point that should the union be voted in furloughs would happen. Now I know many have said we should stop crying about the loss but if you look deeper at the makeup of our pilot group plus the incredible lack of union experience it was easy to scare pilots into not voting with false and downright criminal misinformation. Losing a tough battle like this is hard enough to swallow but losing because people never had or took the time to get the correct information hurts.

You are SO incorrect. The JBPA kept a list of how to contact people.

The BOBBERS kept a list that had which way people were likely to vote.

Those are 2 completely different things. I really hope the rumor of the NMB investigating the Bobbers is true. It would make my day to see those clowns held liable.
