Fedex down in LBB

Just saw where a Fedex (looks like an ATR from what I can see) feeder crashed on landing in Lubbock.. 2 on board, both are fine.

It was an ATR42 flying from AFW to LBB. I am glad that the crew walked away. It looks really bad on the picture.

"The plane landed in a freezing mist, but Loomis says weather was not a factor in the incident."--- I thought the ATR42 was terrible in icing (i.e. AME in Iniana a decade or so ago)???

Yes, I see that they changed equipment on that route starting January 6.

Yeah that freezing mist will make you veer off the runway every time in the ATR... maybe they should improve the boots yet again.
