Does anyone have any info on when pass riding will be as one entity? checking loads? listing? I do realize that there is a procedure in the meantime, but from my experience it still remains to be a pain in the a$$ when you are a NW guy trying to fly on DL via a pass.

I have heard later this spring. They are working on, "Bringing the best of both programs together."

I never like it when crap like that is said!

Well, at NWA we have NEVER had to pay an "annual fee" to use our travel benefits and parents could always travel whenever, wherever as many times per year as they wanted. Whats up with the limited "international travel days?"

Lets hope some of those NWA policies transfer over!

I agree. No fees is the way to go!! I mean if there is a seat open, why not fill it with a non-rev.

The annual fee was a result from BK court. The judge asked why we get free travel. It was explained it was a perk. The judge then made the decision of the 50 dollar fee. Nice!
However, one plus is we don't pay to ride in first or business class.
How much does NWA charge non revs for first class?

I was just charged $32.88 from MSP-LAS. I thought it was now free but I guess not.

Get a ZED fair. I zed fair'd from BKK to NRT on NW to problem. The fair cost $25 for the taxes.

Delta employees and DCI employees get free ZEDs on NW. Just buy them and make a reservation... No Biggie.

YOU SHOULD NOT PAY ANYTHING FOR A NW ZED FAIR IF YOUR DL OR DCI.

Also we get friends and family fares. Eight tickets a year.
I use them for my in-laws. It is nice to have them come and visit. Short of them getting the same bennies that my parents have, it is a good deal.
