Someone on the jetcareers forum said they talked with HR a few weeks ago and they mentioned maybe another OTS announcement in January/February.

I applied for the PUBNAT 5 announcement in July and just took the AT-SAT (91). The process is a long one. My dad is an ATC manager in MI and said the whole process right now from time applying to getting an OKC training date is 10 - 11 months. I am also another on the street Pilot turning possible ATC.

I answered the announcement that ended in September. I took the AT-SAT test in December and have a hiring deadline of April 17th. From what I have been told, you have to be given an offer by your 31st birthday, and if you are getting close to the deadline (depending on test score) they will push you through the process a little faster.

A buddy of mine put in his initial application in Jan, 2008 and was in the November school in OKC.
