it blew tires on landing? GSP is a loooooong runway! 11,000 ft. Maybe the smoke impacted the anti-skid?
 
It was super-over-loaded......

General Lee forgot to put the weight of his ego in the ACARS.... Landed about 15K over max...

-Don't let that happen again, Gen! We will demote your sorry butt to a cargo plane flying rubber dog poops out of Hong Kong.

Maybe the Delta pilots were putting their hats on at 80kts for the appearence during deplaning, then realized they were running out of runway.....

No antiskid when you are down to emergency power. No autospoilers either. Also, no trim which means you can't use landing flaps. Know something about the airplane involved before you speculate.
