VOR, can we please give the President-elect a chance to get into office and have some time to actually do things before interjecting partisan potshots? Thanks.

No.

Had my share of Kool-Aid for a lifetime. Thanks.

(good luck with all that "HOPE" though)

*Whew*...that's a whole lot of big words...I need another cup of coffee!

Here are some concepts that were employed by Toyota in the 70's-80's which they implemented and resulted in their being one of the top car manufacturers today. A process called Lean was incorporated into thier business model and ledto drastci improvements in efficiency and quality.

Basically, the premise is that if one elimantes waste, they improve quality. This fundamental applied to the various processes found within their manufacturing has made them a stellar company in terms of producing a quality product which satisfies the customer and employee.

One other thing, its more than just rotely implenting the business model. To make it work properly, it requires that each employee from every dept. recognize what constitutes "waste" and through cultural adherence, practice the model in a sincere fashion. This requires an intuitive understanding of how the model works and how you as an individual can help support it through your efforts.
