America West Pilots have integrity?

Its not that I don't agree, but its the fact they shoulda known this was gonna be an ugly marriage to begin with.

First US Airways was one the top paying jobs, with probably one of the best contracts in the industry during the late 90's and in the the early 2000's. Some feel that it was the reason they went down hill after the parity plus 3% deal they got. Many felt that a big regional with a handful of the flights over the pond didn't deserve to be paid what United, Delta and American folks got. Oh well thats a different story.

Now America West aka 'America Worst' were labeled the misfits and the place you went when the top 4 didn't want you. Pay wasn't good, contract near the bottom of the industry. These folks were just happy to get out of the regional industry to make a honest middle class living.

Now Take these two and marry them? Are you really surprised by this? This marriage was gonna be bad from the get go, so maybe they should just run separate operations.


But really, is this a surprise to you?

Nice thread on a case that was thrown out several months ago! The inbreeds at CLT/USAPA are now trying to appeal the case. I do not believe the East has won or came out on top of any case/arbitration since the merger in 2005! Dig up some more old news because the present news is looking bad for the East!

After reading too many of your posts it's clear that not many people would want to share a cockpit with you. To the unbiased objective observer there's no doubt which group behaved honorably and which didn't.

My point was once again, if you're going to call us names, be ORIGINAL!! Show some cajones!! Our skin is too thick to hear some jagoff flying for Piedmont to raise our blood pressure.

It's kinda like when your delayed for crew rest and some obnoxious pax asked if you had enough beauty rest. I look them right in the face and say " gosh, I never heard that one before......did you think of that all by yourself, or did you and your fellow pax ask a second or third grader how you can intimidate a crew member?"

Hehehe. I just didn't like the fact that this dude was calling me out by saying I was personally calling America West - "America Worst".

It wasn't a personal attack against West or even the East guys. I was just trying to explain how two totally different pilot groups are forced to marry and the marriage just ain't working out.

Personally S. if I had gone to US Airways as you did I probably would have rather gone west and flew with those folks. But then again thats a another story!
