The Base Bid consists of constructing Paving and Marking elements related to the future 5,500-foot long runway, including, but not limited to, approximately 40,000 tons of bituminous asphalt surface course, approximately 180,000 square yards of crushed aggregate base course, approximately 100,000 square feet of pavement marking, approximately 4,000 linear feet of storm drainage installation, as well as subgrade preparation, grading, electrical duct bank installation, and erosion control measures."
 
I am not being the spelling police...but I find it very funny that on a board where most of us are college educated, the one word that apparently kicks us all in the rear is lose vs loose....hahaha

Well, yeah, but it is possible to loose an investor. Think of a moonshiner who looses the dawgs on a revenue agent. No, it's not exactly the Queen's English, but look what happened when all the investors were loosed on the mortgage industry.

I agree. I don't understand why people have such a problem knowing the difference between loose and lose. It is just not on this message board, but I see it everywhere on the internet.
