The new SEA 767ER base will be fed by Alaska Airlines, as a codeshare. The SLC-NRT flights will be fed by all of the SLC domestic connections. I have also heard AMS from SLC, as well as CDG and NRT, all on the A330. To throw another in there for free, expect BOS--NRT on the A330 also. We want to use the NRT slots that the cargo 742s are using currently for pax. The 777 will start JFK NRT back up soon, and we also will add ATL--HKG, SIN, and ATL-LAX-SYD on the 777 next year, from what I have heard.... We shall see.....

BOS-NRT? Does the 330 have the legs? I know, some smart @$$ will tell me to look it up myself. I don't believe it does. Sounds like an ideal 787 route if it ever shows up.

I don't know, but I was told that route, and he said the A330. I guess it could be with a 777 maybe?

No when it comes to this I will tell you that the 330 can do it. It may need a polar route.
What I am telling you to look up is your financial data, and whatnot that pertains to the SLI, and the arguments that surround it. Not the routes and hubbub about where we are all going to go and who will be flying it.

BOS - NRT Great circle distance is 5823nm. Cuts just north of Barrow AK - not quite polar, but pretty close. Not sure what the effective range of the 330 is though.

For what it matters - From the Airbus website: A330-300 range 5650nm, A330-200 range 6750nm.
BOS-NRT in the 200 should be doable.

We get Ozone reports from the dispatchers, and fly at lower or recommended altitudes when needed.

Yes, we have to adhere to concentration levels. It depends on the time of year, latitude and altitude.
But yes, it does become a factor.
