Are you joking? You really think it was just a typo? Creating a new verb. You sir are a dork!
If SWA was going to get involved with a regional then Skywest would be it. Why wouldn't they want to be partners with the best, strongest airline in the free world??
Skywest also feeds our competition. Why would SWA get involved with someone who hurts our bottom line with their other business
Um that happens all the time. Not saying this would ever happen (I highly doubt it) but I don't think this would be the reason it didn't. Who WOULD SWA get involved with? Are there any regionals who don't feed the competition?
I think Horizon only feeds Alaska...is that true?
I mean do you really think SWA would go out and start their own regional for the little amount of flying that was originally proposed?
I quick check of the Alaska Airlines website shows the following;I think Horizon only feeds Alaska...is that true?

As one can see, the Alaska/Horizon relationship is not only between themselves, but includes many other airlines. One can book on "Alaska Airlines" but travel on Horizon on anyone else above and make it to their destination without ever setting foot on an actual Alaska Airlines aircraft.
I wonder why no Comair?
