So it looks like the family and I will be moving to the Nashville area within the next few months or so. I told a buddy of mine about the move and he mentioned a company called Nashville Jets said they have Lears and Gulfstreams. He said he didn't really know anything about them, except that he sees their pilots around the FBOs. I'm just wondering the standard pay, QOL, schedule, on call, days off, company treatment of pilots, or just all around good/bad stuff. I did a search, but nothing really turned up. I've been in the regionals for 6 years now and am thinking about sliding over to the corporate side.

Thanks for the info.

I went to FS recurrent two years ago with a guy that flew for them. He had been flying for them for quite awhile and didn't have anything bad to say about them. I am pretty sure they have some kind of BAE Jetstream operation too, and he was in recurrent for the Citation 650.

The Jetstream operator is Corporate Flight Management (CFM) at Smyrna, NOT Nashville Jet. I have no firsthand experience with NJ, but I've never heard much good about them. I did fly for CFM for about a year and it was a decent place to work. Pay could have been better, but for a 135 outfit they were good to work for. I'd say they may be a better bet than NJ. I think at the moment CFM have Jetstreams, LR35 and 45s and some Citations.

F.F is a piece of ********************. Ask anyone in Nashville and they will tell you the same. Not too many good gigs in Nashville.
Colemill, CFM, Secure Air, and Averitt are a few you can look into. Out of those the only place I would consider is Averitt.

Thanks for the info everyone. Although it does seem like most people say that NJC seems like a bad place to work. I'll look into the other companies that were posted. We are moving to the Nashville area for family reasons and I've been with the regionals for 6 years now and have been living in base and I'm looking at ways to avoid the fun adventure that is commuting. I'm guessing theres no way that I'm lucky enough that anyone has J-41s or EMB Legacies around here since I'm typed in the 41 and the EMB 145.

Thanks for banging the ol' memory card. It was Corporate Flight Management and not Nashville Jets. Sure didn't seem like the place everyone else was talking about.

Though CFM operate 31s on their certificate they do MX/sales on 41s too, and as of a couple of years ago they were looking for 41 pilots for delivery flights so a BA4100 type may be a foot in the door there.
