My friend is dating a Delta 757 captain. He is 34 years old.....I had no idea Delta had captains that young these days. What is the time to command at Delta right now?

A captain on the 757 would have to have at least 17 years with the company. You do the math.

That would be very hard to do. Most of the 767 CA are in the 45-55 year old range. Most are on the top end of this range.

Probably some new hire on the ER with a type who thinks since he sits in the left seat while the boss man is on break, that's makes him a captain. Tool.

I recently flew with one of the most junior 75/76 captains at DL. He was a 91 hire.

Methinks this is probably a Connection pilot blowing some sunshine up someone's whazoo.

767 captain is only as junior as '97 hire. Youngest possible age is 38 for captain. Just have to look it up.

Yep! Or also equally likely, some Comair guy claiming that he is a "Delta Air Lines, Inc." captain.
