At our Chief Pilot's meeting yesterday we were told Comair will furlough up to 30% of it's pilots. Is that true? Man that is to bad. So Sad! Good Luck!

He was saying that is how many Delta/Northwest will furlough after the merger. Need to get your hearing checked.

Where did you get that., Post anything that says I think that I am some super human, major airline pilot! Anything! Otherwise shutup!
 
At the Comair Chief Pilot's meeting yesterday we were told Delta will park up to 30% of it's 737 fleet. Is that true? Man that is to bad. So Sad! Good Luck!

Possibly I overreacted, but your "too bad, so sad" comment sure made it sound like you were gloating. That phrase is not generally used when someone is genuinely sympathetic. It just gets old listening to the major pilots knock on regional guys. We're just trying to work our way up through the system in place just like you did.

I apologize if I misunderstood you.

I was at that meeting too, and I thought they said it was 28.34312% of the 73 fleet as well as 68.59021103% of the Mad Dogs. Or did I misunderstand SB?

Where did I say that they needed to close the CVG base? At our meeting they used the words "right size" CVG! 30% of Comair! Thats awful! Hard times indeed!

You need to "right size" your girl. A good start would be cutting 30% of her triple chin.
Then work your way down to the pack of hotdogs on the back her neck. The flaps hanging off the back of her arms. She could lose 30% of her gut, it's pretty gross when she drags that thing across the buffet table, getting all her belly greese/hair on the food.
How about the saddle bags and then the ham hocks, 30% off of those, she might be able to sit in the extra large real chair you haul her around in. She's so big she doesn't even have Kankles. Her blubber rolls right over her shoes.

So before you start talking "right size" for CVG. You should work on that broken down battleship in the corner of your room, the thing that you kiss everything and say you love her.
