Has anyone filled out the new online app and sent it to them via email. It says that you can't save the data so how are you able to email the file? It also says attatch a resume in the email but nothing about a cover letter. If I follow the instructions that means I shouldn't send in a cover letter. Just curious to what others out there are doing.

There is no 'online application' as of yet. I hear one is coming for later this year.

You can print out that form and fill it out neatly with a pen of spend 20$ on PDFill and fill it out and then print it out. You can send it ( once you have filled it in and saved the new PDF doc ) or you can snail mail the document, with resume and cover letter. The website is asking for a cover letter, so I think you may have missed it.

P.S. Bodean, that link is for NJI. :-)

Good luck

Click on the application itself. You can fill it in online and the instructions tell you to email the app along with the your resume to the netjets email address.

Does this mean that the older apps are no longer a valid way to apply? I'm just wondering because I have an an older version on file that I submitted a few months ago.

Does anyone know any free PDF forms software you can download so you can save the app to your computer. I dont have adobe professional and it wont let me save the data typed in the form.

I am confused....did you already type info onto the app? If not then you can downlad adobe reader for free. That allows you to save the document. Might work even with info typed in, not sure.

It is not the easiest procedure to save it after entering the information. The free adobe software will not do it. This process seems to weed out the computer illiterate.

I am not computer program smart, and PDFill works awesome and is easily figured out.....WELL worth the 20-30$ spent ! ( cant remember exact figure) ...I cant say it enough...its worth it! and easy to use!

new app only has 3 spots for employment jobs. doesn't say anything about a 10 yr history. do they want that or just the most recent 3?

The front page says safety sensitive positions require 10 years.

i saw that on the old form. new form on website says:

NetJets Pilot Applicant Form
NetJets Aviation, Inc.
4111 Bridgeway Avenue
Columbus, OH 43219
[email protected]
This is the NetJets Pilot Application form. Note there are required fields on this form so fill
in each field completely. This form is to be sent with your attached Microsoft Word
formatted resume to the e-mail address to the right. We do not accept phone calls - please
direct any questions to the address to the right.

If you do not have Abode Professional, you can download free PDF forms software that will
allow you to save this form and the data with it.

should you attach a addendum to the form with a 10 yr background or what?

here is what I would do : Print page 1 a few times, and use it to fill up your work history.....just leave the other parts blank or neatly put an x through the used portions

The old application wanted 10 year background. The new one does not say that any more. If they want it emailed, like the directions say, printing it out won't help.

If you e-mail your stuff in they will print it out and add to the pile to be gone through.

You ARE NOT hurting yourself by MAILING, FED-EXING, OVERNIGHTING the application in, as long as it is professional and neat. Typewritten or handwritten applications both get called.

The most important thing is to GET THE AP IN!

Don't read too deep into the app. Those three spots are for explaining how you used customer service. There is nothing about a 10 year check.
Perhaps that's why they want the resume now...

emailed pilot recruitment and here's what they sent back:

Good Afternoon,

There has been a change in the format of our application. If you have already filled out the version that includes the 10 year work history that is fine. These applications will continue to be accepted. The
newer version of the application, currently available online, does not include this in the initial application. In the future candidates using this form will only be asked for this information further along in the
interview process. I hope that answered your question.

Many Thanks,
NetJets Crew Recruitment

Sooo, still trying to figure out how to send the new app via email. I just filled it out, and copied the address bar at the top and emailed that along with my attached resume.

Did you fill it out with PDF fill? Or do you have the full on adobe acrobat with the typewriter function? If you did it using PDF fill, and tried to send that to them, they will not be able to open it. (Yes, that's what I did and they sent me an email stating that, so you can feel free to call me a dumbass now).

You have to save it as a regular PDF document in order to attach it and send it.

I just used their own application process (the new one) from their website. I filled it in, and thought it would autolink when I hit the email link they want you to send it to. Then I tried to copy what was in the address bar with the app on screen and link it to my email to them. I tested it by sending it to myself, I opened it and only the app was there and not what I filled in. There's no way to save it somewhere on your computer and then send it to them. I printed it out, but some of my customer service stuff was cut off because it's one continuos line, and not paragraphed.

That's why you either need to print it out blank and hand write it, of buy the PDF fill tool for $20, fill it in that way, and then save it as a PDF file. Kind of a pain I know but worth the extra effort for the good job!

I'm a bigger jacka$$, because I can't figure out how to save it as a pdf. Anyone?
