Pillows? Not on US

Let me get this straight. No pillows. No free drinks or pretzels/peanuts. Flight crews who hate each other. Limited frequent flier miles usage. Yeah, I can see why passengers will want to fly USAirways when given a choice in a competitive market... The standards continue to plummet.

USAIR has assigned seats and first class. USAIR also goes to LGA, EWR. SWA doesn't.

USAIR has nothing to worry about. SWA is the true discount carrier. Just look at the pax on their airplanes.

Not exactly sure what you mean. I'm starting to see more and more business travelers on SWA. It's not all greyhound bus types that's for sure. I'm taking a trip to Philly soon and SWA is my airline of choice, not US Air. Overall the service is better and i have a better chance of getting there on time. Oh and I'm not getting charged for bags and water. It's a no brainer really.

USAirways first class = JOKE!!

Some crusty ole hag yelling at you in your filthy cabin on some beat up old 767-200.

Now BA / Lufthansa / Singapore etc....now there's First Class!

Not true sorry. You'll still have to pay for your type, after your offered a chance at the job. However, you will pay nothing if you had the chance to scoop the type up at a previous employeer.
You picked the wrong dog for this fight. I think that mgmt's motivation behind employees having the type is brilliant. I just think they should change it back to needing a type to apply.
I did have to put $.50 in the lav door to use the pisser on a USair flight the other day.

Glad I got mine for free.
