or the ability to fly only 60 hours per month.

The number was closer to 33% of all pilots. Then the average was more like 3 dudes flying 75 and one guy crediting 110 and then all of a sudden the average JetBlue pilot is flying 83 hours per month.
Plus the 83 hour mumbo jumbo included other types of pay credit (non flight time credits) that were not paid at PP.
The 83 number is bogus.
It is true that the hours are being cut to save jobs in the short term but the only people that were flying 94 hours are those that wanted to.
I personally bid min sched for an average of 72 hours and 16 to 17 days off.
I was a very senior guy at one of the better regionals and my quality of life did not suffer. Granted my pay did suffer but that is only for the short term.
Good thing our entire existence at JB isn't based on premium pay ...
