What is that? The circadian rithym thing?

No, the analogy is that if you wake up and see that you have a bad horoscope, have a bad feeling, or whatever, you call dispatch and tell them you can't fly that day. IMO, It is a "feel good theory" that probably wouldn't be tolerated too well in actual practice.

Ricci is already making changes.

Some note worthy points for pilots

- No more training contracts
- no more crew rot at FBO's
-crew eat what they want and when. (company pays)
-dedicated crewing of aircraft (maybe?)
-he will be sitting in on negotiations to get them done as soon as possible
-acquisition of another company
-adding another type to fleet
-bad horoscope schedule ( believe it or not its back again)
-making the pilots happy who will then make the PAX happy.



I am cautiously optimistic but, still need it all in writing in a contract.

Essentially Ricci just stated that he is here to save the day and for everybody to trust him. I say put it in writing! Give me a contract! Without it, its just like picking up a drunk chick at a bar and telling her "Trust me and keep going baby, I won't cum in your mouth" (-:

I was a pre-RTA FlOpper, the most anti-union of the anti-union pilots.

So, believe me when I say this: There is NO WAY KCR will be moving this company forward WITHOUT a unionized pilot workforce and the CBA that goes with it. Had he stayed, he may have avoided it. But he cannot avoid it now. We'll get our first TA. The first one may even be suitable for ratification by the union membership, if both sides gave it the effort it needed.

To state otherwise is either demonstrating naiveté, spreading FUD or a combination of the two.

I'm glad you agree on the free speech thing, but I don't know what you mean by "did you earn yours?". Also, you paid for both of us...that makes no sense either.
But as far as the union goes, KR said he would personally involve himself to resolve this issue. I read that as there being no union in the end as he doesn't see the need for a union. But you're also correct, time will tell.

Kenn Ricci and his Policies left the Company once before when he was forced out the door.

What happens if next time, he just decides to leave on his own?

What protection will his Pilots then have of going through the same Hell we just experienced over the last 3-4 years?

If Kenn really cares about his Pilots as he says, he will not only institute his Pilot Friendly Policies once again, he will put those Policies in a Legally Binding Contract.

You may want to put all your faith in the Words of Ricci.
