You would think that with DL holding the gun to managements head about the -900 contract, they would have been more agreeable in negotiations.

No fair contract, STFD! I'd rather be out of a job for a few years than sign a $hitty contract.

Can't say I'm surprised. I hope your fellow pilots are ready to "work to rule."

This whole 'losing the 900s' thing has them working like good little soldier boys. Work to Rule? Never.

why dont you quit...nobody is forcing you to work and it sounds like you are a miserable person....

obviously a newbie with shiny jet syndrome ready to take it up the a$$ so he can continue to tell everyone he flies a jet ........oooooooooooooohhhh. Which one are you anyway? The one that wears the blades propped up on the top of your head or the one that wears the rayban aviators over your eyes in a dark terminal?

And you figured that from a single line post. You are destined for DTW Base Management with your uncanny ability to intuit motive and personality from a forum post, (Unless you have pinked your type ride. If so you have to go to MSP).

Seriously though...

The market has become wise to PNCL. The $3.00 share price indicated lack of faith in the PNCL model. They did OK when NWA fed them a healthy profit margin , to buoy their stock price. The shares you remember were used as capital to fund a retirement debt.

PNCL has been out on its own twice. Colgan, which at best is now a shrinking venture, with large losses and the Delta flying which failed.

PNCL is cash strapped and the inevitable more expensive pilot agreement will be problematic. The one positive result of the above will be the likely cuts to middle management. Clear out that rats nest in Detroit and MSP..costs will reduce and morale will improve.

Did you just use morale and Pinnacle in the same sentence?

The funniest post on the boards right now is this one. The same headline could have been posted on here for the last 5 years.

That's not to say that you all don't deserve better. You do. Just that management has made it clear for YEARS that they won't do it. Nothing new here.

Any labor group that is serious about a contract will not sign LOA's.

Any labor group that is serious about a contract will not "pick up Open Time", or agree to overtime.

Since this labor group continues to do all of the above - they can live in the never, never land of wishing for a new contract.

Every industry has a bottom - Pinnacle is it in Aviation.

Well not quite the bottom, that is firmly held in place by Mesa, with support from Gojets. However, Pinnacle is the mushy stuff on top of the bottom layer of crud.

yeah dont feel bad....fracs have a industry bottom too....

NJA
Flex
CS
Avantair
XOjet
flops....

im sure everythin will work out in a few years, it always does.

just stay positive and do the best you can to stay employed.
