My trusty Samsonite of five years crapped out and finding a replacement has been frustrating at best. I beat the crap out of that bag and unfortunately they discontinued using a heavy clip for the manuals bag so its time to move on.

I'm finally ready to pony up the $$$ for a Luggage Works and would like to know if the Stealth 26" (computer pocket if that matters) will fit in ASA's forward closet on the -200?..

I like the 22" but am losing 1" on the depth (from the Samsonite) so the 26" seems to be the way to make it up.

Thanks for your help.

Hey Rat,
I got the 22" bag with the computer pouch in the front and it fits perfectly into the CRJ overhead...besides the height difference, the other dimensions are the same (14"*8"). Hope this helps...I got my money out of it.

The 26" is definately the wiser choice. I know it's huge and the thing is really, really heavy. Really heavy.

I can't tell you if it fits in the 200 forward closet. But if it doesn't, you'll find some other place to put it.

26" DOES fit, the same as the 22" in the CRJ overhead. As far as a closet, I have no idea.

The only reason why someone might choose the 22" is because it fits longways, deep, in a mainline overhead.

I've got the 26 w/ laptop slot. It fits in both the overhead and closet just fine. A whole lot easier putting it into the closet though, working with gravity instead of against it. I think the 4th strip is required to automatically throw your bag in the closet though, since only one will fit. We tried to get two in once.... Got them in after 2 minutes and out after 20 minutes.

Can't imagine getting the 22".
4 day= running shoes, casual cloths, good sized toiletry kit, etc. and it all just barely fits.

You can fit a lot into the 22" bag. It's pretty versatile. Unless you're a chick (or flying to Europe), you shouldn't need a huge overnight bag.

Ditto. Never had a problem commuting with it either. Not even on an Airbus.

It just occurred to me that you people might have layovers that are longer than 9 hours on average. I recant my previous post.

9 hour layovers followed by 6 legs. Gnarly.

Two 22" bags fit in the closet just fine. I always hated it when I came on board to find one bag in the closet standing upright.

I've never had a problem packing my bag, even with running shoes and all that. It bows out a bit, but who cares, it still fits. I bought the attachable duffel thinking I would need it but I rarely use it. Maybe I just pack lighter than all of you...

I like the 737 bag, it's smaller than the other and a bit lighter. As long as you don't need the extra room, it's excellent.
