I love the chart about what each brings to the table that is making the deal profitable:

"Delta=small and mid sized aircraft

NWA= 100 seaters and wide bodies"
(among a number of other things)

Hmmm...wonder why DL widebodies are of no importance?

And listing NWAs 787 order book as a strength?
Maybe it's just as the General has been saying, they're getting ready to retire all those 767s because they are really old...I mean old...like really old and inefficient...and old...

Schwanker

You better hope they don't get rid of 12 year old 767's. Those 767 drivers will bid your new tupperware tube'd 787.

RA loves the 330. I think he is hinting at a reduction of the 767. The 330 is lighter, carries more payload and burns the same gas as a 767.

I think it said "Large Widebodies"---and that would mean the 16 744s. Those may go to cargo eventually, and the 777 will take the pax roll, just like at every Asian airline (Cathay, JAL, ANA, EVA, etc)--all switching to 777s. (and moving their 744s to cargo)

So, how do you like FLOPS? Which plane do you fly? Are you miserable?

Bye Bye--General Lee
