Fresh off the rumor mill express. There is talk on other forums and confirmed through alternate sources that Northwest's contribution to regional consolidation will be the merging of these airlines. So to review:

36 - E175s
36 - CRJ-900s
17 - CRJ-200s
49 - S340s

Quite a diverse fleet for a regional. Your thoughts?

If Northwest parks the DC9s, will those pilots get to bid Saab Captain? I guess there would a flow down, right?

Well only the number of pilots that have taken the flow up can flow back. So....10 maybe 15 max?

I think we've only had 4 flow up...so according to the agreement only 4 can come back...isn't that correct? And as for the bid, they would flow into the same seniority number vacated, so whatever the number would hold is what they could get (anything I would think)

So I'm thinking with the lack of responses to the Comair question that, they are not going to come out of this too well?

I think the key is, noone knows what will happen. That goes for mesaba, compass, pinnacle, comair, etc etc. That goes for any regional.

What will happen to the guys in the mesaba hiring pool? I ask because I'm a bit worried now.
You will have to continue delivering papers, go ahead and spend the extra bucks on the premium tires for your stingray, you are gonna be chucking papers for awhile.
