Should have never been separate? They were specifically negotiated to be separate. The NW pilots got a $30 million bargaining credit for making them separate. The NW MEC publicly proclaimed that they could not possibly hold on to that flying. Now they should have never been separate?

I seem to remember a very similar sentiment when the Avro's went into service. You can't possibly be telling us that the "senior guys" fell for the same gag twice are you?

It was bankruptcy. You have choices in bankruptcy...bunga, bunga or death by bunga, bunga. Which do you want?

As for "supers" view, you're wrong all aircraft are "worthy" but i dont make the rules. Compass should have never been separate and the senior guys are figuring that out very quickly thus why they "favor" the aircraft. nothing more nothing less

So the E175 should have never been separate? But Mesabas CR9s should be? And all the CR2s "should" be separate?

Again, cherry picking the "worthy" airframe. It is a 76 seat aircraft. There is hundreds of them throughout the NW\DL system.

It is a 76 seat airframe. No different than the hundreds of other 76 seaters thoughout the NW\DL system. Oh wait, it is alittle heavier. Now it must be worthy.

It is the same old "to good to fly the smaller RJ's".

Heck a 76 seat BLIMP should be at mainline. It's a matter of seats and routes not who built the things. If it has a flight attendant it belongs at mainline. If it has more than one it REALLY belongs at mainline.

Apparently, only emb's belong at mainline. Us Bombardier pilots are screwed.

Glad you see it our way

But seriously no one is moving up any list. As of right now we can just hope we all have jobs by next year.

You keep saying that Compass pilots have not been around long to earn anything and you may be right but if NWA furloughs 400 pilots you will still have your job on the CRJ so will any other airline, only Compass guys will loose their job and be on the street

We all knew that coming to Compass, and for this we get a chance to flow up. The rumor is that NWA will shorten that time to lets say 18 months nothing more than that. But if they do want to bring the E75 on property that would be a step in the right direction

How come Air Canada has the E75 on mainline property but the CR7 is flown by Jazz??

so stop saying that all Compass pilots New hires have done nothing. Most of these new hires are former Mesaba, Pinnacle, Comair , Captain as well of numerous other airline and yes we are new hires but not new around the block

No matter what airline you came from, compass pilots got out of line and into a new line, with a NEW hire date.

You could have done the same thing couldnt you? I stepped out of my "line" at my old company and got in a new "line" at NWA, whats your point?

His point is...he wanted an easy road to NWA and is now complaining because he THINKS Compass pilots jumped in front of his entitlement.

Oh, btw, thanks for the ride home today Compass. I appreciated the first class seat and offer(even though I declined) of a hot breakfast.

thats what I figured but i was just letting him continue digging his "entitlement" hole. Bottom line is Compass guys got hired under the flowthrough/back umbrella so they have the chance of flowing up at some point. Smart1$$ did they have that at Pinnacle when you applied and got hired? Just like they knew what they signed up for, so did YOU.

Yup, just keep justifying bringing a "worthy" airframe on to mainline and keep us unworthy CRJ pilots out.

It won't happen anyway. But your arguements stink of the same old "to good to fly or fight for the regional jets".

I don't feel entitled. But I do feel the pilots of Mesaba, Pinnacle, ASA and Comair are hell of alot more "entitled" then a bunch of compass new hires.

Hey Champ you are preaching to the Choir, both myself and MJ42 used to fly regional jets. So you throwing the "to good to fly regional jets" comment holds no water.

You do know that Superpilot and I, along with just about most F/O's at NWA came from the regionals. Your "too good" theory is crap...look at the aircraft I've flown(not all of my jets or t-props are listed).

Beat me to it superpilot!

Just throwing this out there...Why not also get the 76 seat CRJ's from Mesaba and put the corresponding number of pilots from Mesaba also on the bottom of the list (take them in seniority order, whoever wants to go)
