Delta to Kuwait, now that's HOT.......

Spent some time in Kuwait. Only time I have ever heard 53c on the ATIS. That was the first week of June, and the locals were saying that I was lucky to be leaving "before it gets hot." No kidding. Made Phoenix in July seem like spring time.

Are they really called "the Kuwait Towers" because I always called them the Kuwaiti Salty Balls

finally a direct flight to the US besides United's IAD flight. Now I have more chances of DH'ing home direct US without the stop somewhere in Europe. Kuwait is a great layover if you need to dry out and get some good food and a nice workout. We stay at the JW Marriott where you can eat for free all day long and they have a whole floor that is a gym/spa/pool/sauna which you can use for free...better than anything I've stayed at in the USA...plus the skymiles I will earn...sweet

At the rate we are expanding INTL'y, just give us some time. I know we were given rights to the South Pacific, including Singapore and New Zealand. Hopefully Bangkok will be in there eventually. We have 6 777LRS coming early next year, so maybe so....
