You know good and well that his comments about the DC9 where under the notion NWA will soon be DAL. NWA has scope language that protects the DC9 flying and positions, DAL does not and in recent history has proven that they were to good to fly "little" airplanes. DALs scope language sucks and NWA's while not perfect is better than DALs.

What scope language is that? How does it protect DC-9 flying?

Do you really not know? The language that set the Mainline aircraft floor at the beginning of last month. That bar restricts mainline aircraft retirements without first parking 70 seaters. Also no further regional jets can be ordered until the mainline fleet is increased, and thats a Net increase not replacements.

What's the 55 E175 limit for and what's the 90 E175 limit for? How do they play in your scope?

If NWA parked all of your DC-9s today, what would happen? How many 76 seat jets could they operate at Compass? What about your other regional carriers, do they have to park RJs?

Could you post the applicable section of your PWA?
