Drum roll puleeze

Three letters for worst hub: ORD

Philly is obnoxious as soon as the Wx drops below mins for using visuals to 35 or 26.

CLT is beginning to look and feel like PHL more and more, except the free for all that is CLT ramp is amusing at times ( Uhhhh, can you get by that guy? 15 minute waits at the north line, etc.)

LGA wins as worst in my experience so far. Haven't been to ORD yet though.

My least favorite airport? HPN. Overcrowded, security b/s and an ops area that is too damn small. Top that with repositioning terminating and originating A/C. Fun!!

I'd rather be sittin in line at any of those places making money than sittin on my @ss in the terminal not getting paid! My waitin in line at LGA has always been good for buying me a few extra cases of beer on payday, why are y'all complaining about the free money?

LOL! Now you've gone too far! ATL run well?? That shi!thole has to have the worst approach this side of MEM. Everybody's doin 200 or 180-for no apparent reason and every thing is another "slow it down".

Not to mention ghetto airport, not enough gates and lines for security at 0800 every morning that make Disneyworld jealous.

Yeah, you can have the slow flying, slow talking, slow moving nascar fans-I'll take an east coast approach controller yelling at anyone who drops below 250. There might be delays, but at least you're moving.

If you think ATL is difficult then you have not flown enough ! ATL is too easy !

ORD has the best controllers in the country coupled with the worst flow times. It's a mixed bag, but I happen to like the airport layout. It doesn't normally take 20 minutes to get from gate to runway like it does in DEN/SLC/DFW etc...

Agreed. I was never based there. But I did have a couple months where I went there THREE times a day. Worst traffic management, worst controllers.

Others would be JFK, IAD, and EWR. I've heard that LGA is back to it's pre 03/2001 slot restriction days. Used to be very common that we would time out on the taxi ways. Once took me 3 hours to go from LGA to PVD. When they went to the slottery there, it was practically a ghost town many days.

Of the seven airports I've been based at, CVG and LAX seem to be the easiest so far. I never thought BOS was too difficult either. A lot of runways and a lot of moving metal going in lots of different directions.

Why so negative about the controllers...??
