Greetings to all. I will try to keep this simple. I have been offered a position with Flight Options. Should I stay at my shrinking 'wholly owned' or move on?

Dude, it's unbelievable where your simple question led. This B19 character is beyond description, we'll all have to say a little prayer for him tonight.

In any event, I'm a regional pilot who waited a good while for upgrade but finally got it. My suggestion for you would be to apply to all reputable fractionals. I would strongly consider outfits like Avantair and even Dayjet. I tend to believe these could lead to opportunities at places like NJA, CS or Flex...the payscales at both probably need to come up a bit to stay forever, but you'd most likely be happier in the interim. I know exactly how you feel right now...I was there, but I have to suggest not making a hasty decision. Best of luck.

Yea a prayer that B19 quits wasting O2

Now didn't the moderator indicate on a prior thread that B-19 is in fact on the scab list. Now who on this list shares the dubious honor of being on both?

then why are you at this forum???

seek life elsewhere rookie.

this board is for serious inquiries only.

Before I blocked B-19 he was a strictly "big jet" company dude that said the fracs were below him...now he said he's "no longer with" the fracs? Lies make it soooo hard to keep things straight, don't they?

I can't find who said it, but; The less you lie, the less to you must remember.

With over 600 post full of lies. It has to be hard to keep up..
He is at least entertaining to watch him dig a hole deeper and deeper. His post have had no effect on the pilots at FLOPS and he has no effect on negotiations either.
Contract or Close the DOORS!

Like NJW, you only read what you want to read and ignore what you want to.

But, to clarify for the hundreth time, I've repeatedly stated I've worked at all levels, from commuter to legacy and I've never said fracs were below me. I've stated the I like the frac model but find large airplane 121 international operations more challenging, and they pay better, a lot better.

Never have I worked directly for a frac, but consulting between jobs (caused by union layoffs) gave me serious experience before, duing and after the 91K rulemaking that pilots on this board will never have.

I've also stated repeatedly why I post here. It's the newest segment of aviation, I believe that unions are going to destroy the model, and there are a bunch of uneducated pilots and one non-pilot here that could stand to have a different point of view to offset their rhetoric.

Personally, the best thing that could happen to the industry would be to have Flight Options shut the doors because of the union pressure. There wouldn't be another frac pilot group that would touch 1108, and the industry might have a fighting chance.

The only ones that are digging themselves into a deeper hole, are those that voted in 1108 to represent them at Flight Options. 1108 ain't getting it done and are all going to be on the bottom of the seniority list someplace else before it's all over. I'm sure there is a King Air charter operator out there willing to let you fly.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury.....

Please consider:

B19 is not a pilot. Nor has served in any aviation function. He's a total fabrication.

Please do consider:

B19 is a disbarred attorney, or a one that could not pass the bar, or one that had gained a felony while in the process or couldn't complete the law school courses. He is very flexible, morally speaking, to write whatever continues to generate his income. He is amoral. He is outside the pilot culture, but receives tidbits of aviation lingo and history from the FlightOptions management. This what he does for a living. (I can almost smell the bourbon breath of this guy while I write this)

His writing style parallels the FLOPS Director of Operations, however only since the DOO started sending non-union stuff on the Blackberry. I really can't imagine the DOO having enough time to send 615 posts. Additionally, the DOO worked at Eastern Airlines before and after the strike, and he would know that the pilots went back to work, and the mechanics (IAM) closed the doors. And that's the only big union-management show-down that really shuttered a large 121 carrier. Of course the argument is always made by a failing management that labor strife is what caused their corporate unraveling. Old hands know legacy carrier pilot pay historically, before the era of chapter 13 corporate reorganizations that is, didn't have much of a range carrier to carrier.

By continuing to cross swords with B19, I think we're missing out on the real fun. And that would be getting to know more about our new friends at Ford and Harrison. So why don't we take some time finding out who works there. Who's been disbarred. Where they went to school. How's things gone at previous non-union drives. Who are the partners. Who are they trying to sell their services to. (Do they know about the great job F&H did at Netjets?) Certainly some of you must be married to attorneys or have a brother that is one. Seems like there'd be some good stuff out there.

Can I suggest that the current strategy involves tossing the current CEO out once the contract commences, with him holding a tiny little goldenish plated parachute. He's all yours Avantair. Then we welcome the healer, to bring us all together.

Let's get as smart as possible about this great sport. I just don't think we're having all the fun we could be having.

Folks, this internet blog stuff can be all about making up a fake identity. Only you and I know a couple identities of the real posters on this board. Does a single real sounding person on here know B19.

The thing that throws me is, B19 isn't finding any converts, why bother paying him anymore? (B19 thinks to himself-Oh crap!)

By the way, I'm actually a lonely high school girl who is a volleyball player, who was looking for someone to talk to while my parents are of of town. Please come into the kitchen while I load the dryer.

Then the low voice of an adult male, "B19, why don't you have a seat."
