Out with the old -300's and -500's POS and in with the new -800's and -900ER's. Loss of 48 and gain of 50. Net 2 aircraft.
 
Will that bump the blended rate? Something tells me it will end up one aircraft short of that mark....

It was also mentioned in the earnings conference call that the 2009 fleet plan will total 10 less airframes than what we're ending 2008 with. (delayed 787 deliveries)

Depending upon our wait for the 787 we could end up with a few more 777's from Boeing instead of compensation, which some other airlines are now seeking. We also have the 4 757-300's from ATA that are close to becoming CAL aircraft and are not included in any total. Maybe.
 
What's up with the SWA guy posting stories about every other company's losses? Karma dude.

Maybe my gloat detector doesn't work as well as yours, but the only editorial comment I saw in RD130's post was a sad face. Like this--->:0

1st qtr is tough on everybody...us included.
