Is this going to end in a Ch. 7 like the others? I certainly hope not. What a horrible summer and it's only April.

Wait til Sep rolls around

Looks like 2008 is the year for Airline Darwinism. I'm guessing a few more fall by the wayside by the end of the year.

With all these pilots hitting the streets this year I guess I am going to be stuck as an regonal FO for a LONG time! Good luck Frontier guys!

Unless RAH works out a good deal with Frontier, I'd imagine the 170 operation would be dramatically reduced or cut entirely. Those 170s just burn too much fuel in the high oil price environment.

What does a 170 typically burn at 350 at .76?

E-170's burn to much fuel?

I can name a bunch of jets that burn more then the E-170's, plus look at what RAH pays there Pilots/FA's.

E-170 is a money maker when flown on the right segments.

Look at Frontiers pay. Those guys/gals make pretty good money.

I don't know how they can lean up the operation and make it profitabe. Unless they go after Pilots/FA's pay there. But will payrates save the company? If Skybus has a hard time, Frontier is in for a rocky road.

Good Luck to everyone there.
