No doubt. I'd say Avantair is a much better option than staying at a lot of the lame regionals nowadays... Did you see Skywest's new pay package? It's a disgrace. Avantair would be a great alternative considering all of the change in the 121 world.

Thanks Dave for being a strong advocate for Avantair. It is clear that you enjoy your job and you want to spread the word. It's actually refreshing to hear positivity vs. the constant negativity on these boards. It is not surprising that you have received strong interest about Avantair given the uncertain future within the regional industry.

I agree with the posts above, that P-180 is a cool airplane. Reminds me of the P51 Mustang (certainly sounds like one from afar).

I also have a new found level of respect for Elizabeth and for Pilot Recruiters in general. I really wasn't expecting the response that this thread got (in terms of the number of resumes that were good enough to forward to Elizabeth). I'm glad to say that noone considered my enthusiasm for Avantair as a slam on the regional industry. Regional flight crews are the most overworked and underappreciated in the business.
