I was in the 1/11 interview. They were saying around 50 pilots interviewing for the day. Told me to expect an email within a week either way.

Same here. Heard 62 interviewed on the 10th and 48 on the 11th. Best interview experience that I've ever had!

Good luck everyone. I've been here for 1.75 years and I'm really happy with the job. It ain't perfect but I am still happy to come to work.

Interviewed on the 10th. It was a good interview experience, well organized and efficient.

any idea about what percentage of those interviewed are hired?

I didn't hear any discussions of percentages hired but there were numbers like 130 interviewed this month for possible Jan/Feb groundschools. From what I hear, the training pipeline handles 30 to 40 a month so if that is the case I guess it would be around 35% that get hired. Mind you, thats just what I have "heard" so the reality could be very different and they might be hiring people for a pool. I know that on the 1/11 interview there were a bunch of guys from MaxJet who were on the street after their company went TU. Although I am hoping for a slot myself it would be good to see those guys out on the street get back to work. Like others have said though, a great experience overall and, by far, the most relaxed interview I have every been through. I guess we will know next Friday, until then

Just curious for ya'll who just interviewed or went to an open house: What are they saying these days regarding growth and upgrade times?

Cripes M. don't start a furball with rumors like that!

Actually, I am interested in how mgmt is portraying the future outlook these days.

Just received Phase 2 notification as well.

Those of you who attended jetBlue Open Houses in thye past, about how long after did you get the interview invite ?

Took them 1 week to notify me that I was in Phase 2.
Took them another 8 weeks to notify me that I wasn't selected.. LOL!

Sorry to hear that. How did you manage that? Phase 2 is mostly PRIA and background stuff.

Anyone heard anything further than phase 2 yet???
Got a call from USIS about my dd-214 and the problems tht she ws having verifying my Independence Air employment. I got ALPA to fax a letter stating that they had received dues from me for the period 04/2003 to 01/2005

Joblu..
Wish I knew!
Especially since I'm still in the Guard with a clearance, have had another background check done and cleared.. and was flying for a 121 carrier at the time.
Funny thing is, I have a friend at Blue who got turned down in Phase 2 the first time, only to get on the second time!
Also been told by a few JB folks that there have been a few classes in the past that had empty seats as people had cancelled/no showed. Not sure if that's true.. but if it is, kind sad.

Life goes on and I'm somewhere now where I'm very happy and will do all I can to make sure this place continues to grow. Also going to use my background in safety to help out the pilot group too~

Got the call for class on February 6 today.

According to what I've seen both aircraft will be offered.
