yup, just checked and they dropped two days off me.
I prefer the days off so it is worth it. Just wish I could have picked the days.

No, they cannot urp a build up line holder. What's more - build up line holders are the only ones that can drop reserve days.

cheers

I just got the old standup instead of two reserve days gig.

This should not effect your pay. If you are on RS1 you still have the following day reserve period to cover. If you are on RSV you should be paid 3.5 for your reserve period and then the value of the stand-up if the report time for the assignment is outside your resvere period. Hence, you should make more money.
PM me if you want.

Unused Reserve Periods

"Urping" is when the company can take RSV days off your schedule without your consent, in order to bring your monthly credit hours down when they don't need so many reserves (cost savings).

This was apparently authorized by an arbitrator many moons ago. The flip side of this arbitration was reserves get paid very well on the days they do fly. Since the company had to pay so well, they needed a way to make their costs manageble.

Or so I have been told. This was all done well before my time.

The problem is there are supposedly "invisible" rules about how URPing can be conducted. I imagine these are in the form of side letters or something that I have no access to. Hence my question above about URPing. I have heard there are rules about how many days in advance they have to do this, and so forth. I'm in the dark as to what they can do.

Yep, 3 days....down to 73 hours credit. damn. Back to rationing gas and food to make ends meet.

Never made it to 75 credit hours for the past few months... Looks like another 2 weeks without touching the gear handle for me. I'm loving it!

I'm on my 5th Ready Reserve assignment this month. Any one else been getting called out that much? It's been a slow month, I've only blocked 1hr 30mins. I haven't had any days taken away from me yet. It's probably due to my low credit.

Yep, URPed again this month. Doesn't bother me, though. My credit will still be well above guarantee, and I'm getting extra days off. I feel bad for the guys that would just prefer the money, though.

I feel bad for guys that would even think of voting for a 'supposed' ex-Muslim!

Back to the subject.
