Hopefully the G550 works satisfactorily when cold soaked in -40C temps for four days. Ours does not.

You do not cold soak an aircraft to -40C. Three options, leave the APU running (and turn the engines every couple hours), put it in a heated hanger, or fly the thing to somewhere warmer.
