Laughing, what a joke that is. ASA doesn't handle it's own bags. Delta handles them and yes, they suck. Delta does all the ground handling and catering and fueling. ASA just flies the planes.
If we're late, It's Delta. I have been in so many times 30-40 minutes early and have blocked in late because Delta cannot get anyone out.
I have spent many times calling for fuel or catering. It just sucks, because no one sees what I see. Delta sucks.

Ok, I'll buy that, but what was ASA's excuse before Delta took contorl of the ramp? What was ASA's excuse before they went into contract negotiations?

When we were in Dallas, there were no problems. When we were in Salt Lake there were no problems. It has always been a problem in Atlanta. I know what I have seen when I had to be based in Atl and honestly cannot make up excuses for them before I got there.
I know that like you said has always been a problem and when it comes to Delta now, it is all on them.
We just fly the planes.

I guess some things just never change.

The excuse was still the ramp. Lazy, good for nothing thugs, one step off probation.

There was no excuse. You could easily go back years on here and find threads where ASA employees (myself included) were complaining about our operation.

When the finger pointing and trying to mask inefficiencies in ATL come to a stop and actual problems are addressed and fixed, I believe the true potential of ASA will show.

We have a great bunch of front line employees at ASA, and I'm hopeful that Brad, Charlie, Scott and whoever else can let this company work to it's potential.

They need to have a "Safest Airlines" article so we can see the list of airlines that hasn't killed anyone through "pilot's failure to..."

[can of worms]

I believe Mesaba is one of the few established regionals that's never killed any pax.

Granted there's a bunch of newer lines that haven't had the opportunity yet.

If its delta's fault. Why do I hardly have delays(united another story) when I fly the delta side. When I am flying into ATL, the rampers are nice to work with. They enjoy working with us. Or at least they say. But again, why do the outstations we serve for Delta. All, yes ALL love to work with Shuttle America and cannot stand ASA, ComAir or Mesa? I hear it everywhere we go. Midway, Memphis, Montgomery, White stains on and on...

They all say your are lazy grumpy pilots.

muhahahahahahaha
