Sounds like you need better scope protection.....

You can always sue to get it joey! Then tag along a $100,000,000 lawsuit for, ehem, "punitive damages."
You are so pathetic!

See, there's even losers at mainline. It's not a phenomenon restricted to the regionals.

Um, news flash, 737, ALPA settled the RJDC lawsuit. 2001 called, they want their headline back.

I've been told by some 'higher ups' that there are none available to get for 18-24 mos. Take it FWIW.
Don't forget that BH in his initial Q & A said we are not getting any additional aircraft, you know.....we need to work on our operation. (Isn't our operation really Delta's operation? You know, scheduling, facilites, ticketing, baggage, fuel catering, etc...All comes from Delta! What exactly should we work on?)

Anyway, looks like we're the odd man out for now on 900's.

Delta has told SkyWest Inc. to get the ASA operation straightened out, or else. If it was so simple, why didn't Delta do it when they owned ASA?

So being a "regional lifer" makes you a loser? Which mainline do you fly for? Oh wait, you don't!

Maybe you should wait until you get hired at one before you cast stones? I'd sure hate to see economic, financial, medical, or family issues make YOU into a "loser" one day.

Not everyone shares your ideal of career progression. Some of us are perfectly happy where we are.

Does enjoying a paycheck that meets all of my needs and having the seniority to spend as much time as I want with my family make me a loser? Don't think so.

There are more important things in life than your career.
actually we are losers and life at the regionals (especially ASA) is hell. You're a loser if you don't want to be at a major with a double breasted jacket asking stupid questions on the radio.

working at mainline Delta is THE HOLY GRAIL.;)

Maybe one day we can all grow up to be just like 737 and the General.

Maybe we could get some of that "iron clad" scope you guys have.....LOL.

I'm just not sure whats more pathetic; John trying to be reasonable with the likes of you or YOU.

hmmm....I'm leaning towards you.

...... I'm waiting for 737Pylt to ask "How long's the thread"......

A lot of people, especially the younger punks getting hired today, seem to forget that 9/11 even happened
A lot of these kids weren't even driving a CAR when 9/11 happened.

And again.....I'll ask it. What exactly is ASA's operation? We maintain, and fly the planes. As far as I know, the pilots and FA's show up at the planes on time. It is all the crap that DELTA is responsible for that consistently goes awry! I show up at the plane, and it is not catered or fueled, or I cannot get my release. When the baggage is late or lost altogether, again ----- DELTA! When I get to ATL 15 min early, but wait 30 minutes for my gate to open up, Delta again for lack of space and tight schedules. What can ASA do to overcome Delta's operation screwups? They need to straighten themselves out and quit blaming ASA.

Whole baggage carts showing up 1 minute prior to departure. ASA gets the blame for the missing bags if we don't get them on. Then we are late after we load them.

Yeah, it's all ASA's fault

Wind Check? What did the ATIS tell you? Is there WS in effect? Are people going around?= NO so SHUT UP and FLY the plane !!

1986 called, they want their wardrobe back! Of course you were probably what, 5?
Have fun on the ATR! Study up on those cr2manuals. You know how training is, and your training record is, well, questionable at best!;)

Aw jeez, thanks alan. Only you need a college degree to get out of ASA! Enjoy the crj skipper!
But hey, you keep working on those stellar awards that your airline keeps winning, like most delayed flights, most lost baggage.....The hits keep coming because of stellar aviators like yourself. !
