Anyone know about hiring, growth etc???? Seems like a well-capitalized start-up in a great market....Anyone? anyone???

I her you have to have significant 74 time just to even get a sniff

i heard third or fourth hand that the pay is very good. Something like 13k/month as an fo and 18k as a Ca. I believe you can be based in YVR or HKG. I also heard that it was started/is managed by ex Cathay pilots. Sounds like a great gig.

Stop by 'the aviator' on your HK overnights and walk yur own resume into their recruitment office

LMAO! Now that is funny! I can confirm this since I got together with a bunch of them at the "Aviators" great group of guys.

Why are CX pilots leaving to go to Oasis?

CX is not the dream job that many folks think, we have a few former CX drivers working in Japan and they paint a picture of a strange corporate culture with a training department ran without impunity by a group that selects individuals not based on merit but rather choose their drinking buddies for upgrades and the likes. Tons of stories of folks outside of their circle that never make it through the Command Assessment interview. I personally know 4 folks that went there for 1 to 2 years and now all 4 of them are somewhere else. Makes you wonder!

Yeah, I have heard the same thing. Some people here make CX sound like the greatest airline job out there.

I don't know if it's the best airline ever, but after being here for over 3 years I absolulty LOVE IT.

My wife had to go into surgury and after I had my own medical issue in ANC they flew me 1st class with extreamly short notice, with backups if nessesary, to get back to my wife in San Diego, while my base is LAX.

We got a month's plus pay in profit sharing this year and i'm into overtime every month while only working 1 or 2 days more.

I work with great guys and truly have found my direct management to be very approachable.

I have only worked for 1 airline so what do I know. I just know I'm very happy at CX.

Sorry to hear about Oasis. Hope the pilots are going to be OK.
