Why not declare bankruptcy? That seems to be a good solution and has worked out well for quite a few airlines.

Not sure how they are organized but the fact that the stock trades in London as opposed to New York might be indicitive of something other than a traditional US corp. There is no such thing as Chapt. 11 in the UK so one day your in business, the next day your not.

Wow!?!, you're saying a company has to pay its bills in Europe?

Maybe in Europe they can force Legacy carriers to give up slots all in the name of "Competition" like here in the US so the Greyhound crews of the LCCs can make flying cheaper for the masses by undercutting the industry.....naww probably not...

Get off your horse you crybaby....still hurts saying you are an Airtran pilot huh??

I guess you haven't heard of RyanAir in Europe, but anyway, my post was not directed at your airline but at the industry in general and the irony of America calling itself a "capitalist" system while we call Europe a bunch of "socialists". Don't worry guy and don't get so worked up, there is not the stigma of bankruptcy anymore, no one cares (except your creditors) and it worked out great for Delta. As for me, I still wave hello to you guys when we park over at "E" concourse. Happy Holidays!

Wow, who's the crybaby here? You sound like an arrogant, pompous, chip on the shoulder pr1ck. Which "Legacy" do you work for? Oh, let me guess...

Here's a hint: "wind check..."

Not a knock on all of you at Airtran, I have a few friends over there...

It seems Kharma only comes out of his cave whenever he finds an opportunity to nail on Delta....Pretty F-ing sick of him and his whining...

As for the wind check....maybe we can look for an after market battery fire detector for you Cartoonjet guys.....BTW how's the interview process going for the Everglades station manager???

Want to play like kids?? Then game on....or would you rather it be civil in here?? I choose the high road.....

Hey Kharma,

Seriously, get over your hardon for Delta...it's really old....probably Airtran will need BK someday at these oil prices and jets coming faster than Fornaro knows where to make money on them (Hey let's try Orlando to.......) and you'll be thankful the law is there.

Wave at us on E?? Don't care, not our gates.....Good on you though....Going to Cancun, I'm impressed....Remember, just put the compass on "S"....you should find it....

If your last few posts are what you call "civil," then I'd hate to see uncivil. I'm not going to get involved in this silly little game, though, because I know that most DAL pilots are good guys. You seem to be the exception. I guess everybody has their 5%.
