Delta Air Lines Inc. has brought in the former CEO of Greyhound to oversee flight operations, customer service and other operational functions.
The Atlanta-based airline (NYSE: DAL) has hired Stephen Gorman as its new executive vice president of operations. He takes over Dec. 1, replacing Joseph C. Kolshak, who will retire after 20 years of service.
Gorman recently led a four-year financial turnaround as CEO of Dallas-based Greyhound Lines Inc. Prior, he was president of the North America division for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. (NYSE: KKD) and executive vice president of flight operations and technical operations at Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA).
OK Gen Lee,
Are we gettin' any closer now ?
