What I like best is I can hold a decent schedule as a captain.

I enjoy the airplane though. The cockpit is roomier and quieter than the 73N. I have jumpseated in the 73N and can't imagine being crammed in there for a transcon flight. It's different than the Boeings, no doubt, but once you figure it out it's fun to fly.

I think for a newhire you will get some seniority on the 88 the quickest, which means better schedules, holidays off and more money. The extra pay on the 767 or 7ER won't make up for the fact that you can most likely get more flying on the 88 if you want it.

Best part of the 88 is you could fly with me! :)

Thanks Michael. And I think your name is in my logbook a few times already. :)

I noticed that Delta doesn't fly to the capitals of the next superpowers - Delhi and Beijing. Hong Kong too.

Are there plans to open new routes to those destinations?

Also I heard of Saint Petersburg, Russia - any rumors on that?

Was just talking with the station manager @ SVO (Moscow) last week, looks like St. Petersburg will be starting (resuming) in 09.
